Bold World

I have bold world  Ultima Advanced all digital air shock system on the way right now! Jon at High Society VIP did the leg work and Bold is manufacturing the system for me right now.

$5500 for a digital setup sounds right. Keep us updated. Are those two skiny 3gal tanks?

still working on that, it might take awhile as Bold World has cleaned out the car fund for the moment lol.

I am lol, it has always been my dream setup as far back as I can remember.  Finding out about Bold World in VIP Car Mag, all of my Fav F50's have run this setup.  Now I need to find the VIP mag that has an F50 with the digital setup so I can see how he had it installed.

LOL, I have never left. 

The setup is easier to run than airrunner due to the lack of gauges and only 2 switches(front & rear)

I love the fact that I have the best of both worlds(Air and Coilover) 

Im still waiting to camber and possibly pull the rear fender to fit  the new wheels in the rear. 

Dave, i cant wait to see your setup !!

I know, but they will be shipped via Air so they will be in Houston shortly after they ship.

its my understanding that these are already produced and sold off the shelf.

maybe they sold out, and had to do a new production run.  you just got unlucky to have ordered after the last set was sold.

are you sure they had to be manufactured?  if they are manufacturing units at time of sale, this would help explain why the price is so high.

I am sure that they had to be made to order, but I am unsure if that is standard practice or because as you say I was at the end of a production run. I am sure John could answer this question, since he recently bought a set of BOLD items as well.

Not sure where you heard that, but I can assure you it is not true. My kit took 3 weeks, and Dave's has taken longer due to needing some added info for right shock to be used. 

BTW Dave, kit will be ready May 31st. Thanks again for everything.

There is the possibility  that Bold World ran out of kits, but I was told it would take x amount of weeks to build. I had to wait 3 weeks+shipping for my kit.  Either way, it is coming and I can't wait either.


As far as the price, this is for the Advance kit. The List is 708,750 yen +shipping and not including shocks. 

I think $5500 is a pretty good price

Some products are not "off the shelf" in Japan.  Some items like bodykits, air setups, wings, etc...are made at the time of order placement.  Not all, but some.  I'll get the shipping setup today for your kit Dave.

I picked it up today from customs, didn't have time for pics, I have not even opened the boxes yet!  A picture thread will be up friday evening, I cant wait to crack open the boxes.  Big ups to John at High Society VIP for being there with me with our mutual battle with customs.

Its going to be awhile before I have my kit.  Im not sure which one I want. I have always wanted the JP kit, we shall see.  Right now i have a set of Carlsson wheels.  But I want a set of Leon Hardritts!

It wont be installed before the meet =(.  I need to find a shop that I trust and get some quotes plus my job plus my marriage have me crazy busy.  The pics are done. I need to upload them tonight and the picture thread will be up soon.
