good replacement sub for LS models

i changed out my blown Mark Levison sub in my LS430 to this flat 8 inch pioneer and sounds great doesnt need that much power RMS so the factory amp pushes it well...never knew how the stock sounded kuz i bought the car and the sub was already blown.

Mines is blown too =/ on a scale of 1-10, what would you say they rate in your LS? I'm still shopping around for my audio...

a strong 7...its not thumpin bass! more for clarity

btw, did it mount right into the stock sub area or did you enclose it in a box?

i fabricated the stock sub bracket and the just rewired the factory sub harness and it fit like a glove!

hmm...sounds like we found a winner as far as a replacement sub...
