Should I trade my car?

Hi guys. Got a ? for you all. Should I trade my 2003 Evo VIII for a 2008 Xb?
I wanna to the vip styling route with it. Let me know what you think.

It would be more challenging to do the Evo than the xB. Plus there will be more parts for you to choose from than the Evo.

I  really hated the new xb until I saw this pic, thanks for the eye opener mike.

If you want to get into vip style why not consider a ls400 or q45? you could get a used one for the same price as a new xb. either way good luck I look forward to seeing your progress.

the u.s xb and japanese bb are different too...

With the array of parts available for the XB now Vip-styling it would be pretty easy. The new XB does seem to have a combination of the old XB and the curvy lines of the most recent Japanese BB. I would like to see how this would turn out. Good Luck and I too would like to see how this project turns out assuming you buy the car. :thumbsup:

If you do decide on the car the Garson one may not fit. Hood, fenders, headlights, grill, body line, etc are very different but any good body shop should be able to make it fit. Good luck! :p

This is true. Im getting bored with the evo. It seems that what ever i do to my evo either its been done or they copy me. Ive had a box before and had to trade it due some drama. As on what i would do from what ive seen would be kinda limited on the box. As none of japan's part look like their going to fit to well. I've got some bags for the old box I can mod to fit the new one. Im going to have some tables on the way. And im going to do some crazy fabric on the interior maybe panther like or something. Ifyou all know of some kits that would fit post them up please.

The Garson bB posted above in the JDM version. The 2008 Scion xB will look alot different and the parts are not compatible with the JDM version. The xB's are nice cars and don't eat much gas but I'm pretty sure the EVO's are alot more fun to drive and have more parts available for it.IMHO.

I so wish that the bB thats posted above was the car we we're getting but its not the new xB is completely different...

Go with the xb/bb. I finally got rid of my race cars and went towards VIP :dance:

You're right. It is a whole lot different. So then what would be SICK then would be to do the jdm front/rear end conversion. :p

Well thats just it with the Evo. Theres more parts but their performance parts, correct? Since he is pursuing bippu style, it would be easier to work with the xB versus the Evo. Just my 2 cents.

The JDM BB is a totally different car then the new 2008 xB.  There is no JDM conversion.

Thats what i was told. There is no conversion that would fit.

Preformance parts are right. No matter what it seems you do to a evo its frowned upon. Most evo people feel that its just made to go fast and looks dont matter for some reason.

wow...that seems like a huge jump. if you are going to trade in and do the VIP thing, like someone already mentioned look into a m/q45 or a lexus....would look MUCH better and probably be more fun for someone who used to have an EVO.

Yeah, I dunno about Evo to a Box....maybe Evo to a Lexus or something.

whatever you feel like you're more into now. you'll certainly miss the speed and hanlding of the evo! i also got rid of my turbo cars just so i could get out of that highly competive scene and just play around with styling. i do miss the turbo mitsu power though!

Well the reason for the box would be that ive got an air ride system for it already, custom carbon bb badges, and curtains that should fit the new box also.

Hmm... I wonder how the 08 USDM XB will look VIP-styled.  Would be interesting... DO IT!

bB badges do not belong on an 08 xb period!!!!!

get an 06 then VIPstyle it !!

Ok guys the new box i ordered came in today.2 and a half weeks earlier than expected. Im going to go check it out later today and see what i deside to do. Ill take some pics if i can find my camera.

Well its been a while. Been to busy. Survey says i should keep the evo. I shall do so. Dose anybody have any input to any way of vip styling it?
