im going through a crisis. so im taking a huge step. goodbye houston.

i just signed my lease to move to berkeley, ca. on july 1st
ill be driving down a few days prior with my mom to give me time to get furniture and whatnot.
houston has been my home for 15 yrs, but im ready for a change.
im not gonna lie, im scared as ****. im going there not knowing anyone but im at a point in my life where this is much needed. 
a few of you know my current situation so im sure you understand.
ill be working and going to school at UCB.
im real excited. i need to start saying hella a lot so i dont stick out.

I move to Sacto 4 years ago not knowing a soul in Cali. I was there for 2 years and ended up coming back, the food really really sucks in Cali, btw! The weather is great and people are really laid back.

i was going to move with my gf, who actually moved out there this morning.
but we broke up... so i had to change my plans last minute.

I'm not sure what some people are talking about. Food is good over here just need to know where to go. Berkeley is known to have alot of good food in the area. As for the furniture, IKEA is down the street from you. :thumbsup:

ikea in EMERYVILLE! yeah! awesome place. cheapish too. houston's awesome, but so is cali. i hate it and love it here at the same time lol.

the food only sucks here in Cali if you don't know where to go and if you take recommendations to restaurants from anyone who isn't from here hahahahahaha if you ever get bored of SF head south to LALA land ...... we got the ish in cuisine and about all else hell all of Cali is filled with a good time believe that!

wow your moving to my birthplace, iam jealous man. good luck with everything and the food in the bay area is way better than the food in houston. the pizza is off the chain and the weather rules.  When i visit the bay i need to meet all my peeps from vsc!
