Whenever I listen to old skool hip-hop from the 1990's era I tend to reminisce about the days I used to go the swimming pool, listen to old skool tracks, build clubhouses and eat out @ backyard BBQ's during summertime. *sigh*

I've listened to a lot of hip-hop/r&b from the early 80's and I don't like it as much.  I've enjoyed listening to the stuff released between 1989-1995.

music never discriminates against age regardless of the content and release date. :p

The only new rap worth listening to would probably be Lupe Fiasco's cd. Seems to have the best subject matter. I'm still not sure if I would mind being caught at the light in my car with the windows down playing The Jets. haha

Anything that Dazz and Kurupt worked on in the early 90s is the sh!t.  Pop in "Dogg Food" the album and just loose yourself.  "I Dont Like To Dream About Gettin Payed" is one of my all time favorite songs.

while i agree that the early to mid 90s rap/hip hop was the shit, u guys keep saying that all this new hip hop is shit but u keep referencing all the garbage u hear on mtv and top 40 radio.  that shit doesnt belong in the catagory of hip hop.
