fitment on the c220

anybody know the maximum width i can run on the rear. was told the 96 c220 is like the only mercedes with a fwd offset. rolling or streching the fenders will def happen but i dont want to do anything to off the wall.ive seen a few here i think that are rolling on like 19x9.5 or somthing.im thinkn of maybe a 18x10 rear and18x8.5 front.any suggestions welcomed. thanks

the stock offset might be "fwd" but you can put a rwd wheel on there with an aggressive fitment. you'd have to check with some german guys though as far as exact specs.

I had a 19 * 9.5 et 38 with no problem lowered 2.75"+ on my W202. Now when it comes to 10s int he rear, that's fishy territory. If you want to play it safe, I would go 9.5 max with a 255

i guess u can run 10 width @the rear..with higher offset..coz i've seen 'em, plus maybe a roll n shave fender would be necesarry yea..nothing major..

i ran a 19x9.5 +15 with 235/35 and 18x10 +28 for the rears.  fenders rolled and pulled.

thanks guys. think i found what im lookin for. 18x8.5 front and 18x9.5 rear polished sterns. ill post up when i getm on. right now im 2in. lower on stock 16s. painted black with black leather interior . ive got alot of projects going on and this one seems to be behind them all. time to move it back to the front:smiley: gota finish the 69 510 wagon also.kinda old skool vip styled. ground control custom modified coil overs sittn on 17in turbine wheels droped about 5 in rt now.
