Toms Advox Sports coilovers - anyone here experienced them?
Im about to pick up a set locally. Has any experienced how they ride? Initially was I was going to buy the tein cs because I really wanted to keep the 'lexus' ride but was turned off how some say it doesnt go that low. I local seller who just bagged his car is getting rid of these for what seems to be a good deal. its seems like a good deal compared to how much ltuned parts has them for but the are non adjustable. i just wanted to make sure the ride isnt to stiff. Im also looking for the spring rate if you have that info. Thanks guys.

picked up the coils today from johnny aka gotparts? man your car inspires me. can't wait to throw these bad boys on along with the new shoes. since no one here seems to have any experience with Toms Advox Sports, I'll try to do a little write up on them.

Don't forget to unbolt the endlink on the sway bar in the front. that way you can get to the bottom bolt. i think that's the only tricky part about the front. mark your camber bolt in the rear, so you can temporarily fix the camber before you get it aligned.

a friend told me they were suprisingly the best coilovers he's ever riden in, and it
was crazy how they could feel that way. i haven't experienced it myself though.

mr.executive - yeah it was a great pick up! i really have to give to johnny for hookin' it up. actually, my GS is silver. and i cant wait to throw these bad boys on along with the wheels. i have the same wheels johnny does but in 20's.
caoboy - thanks for the tip! ill definately keep that in mind during the install. im no stranger to installing suspensions on dc2's but have never touched a gs's so any tips are a big plus..thanks! im also planning to replace some of the worn suspension parts. my car shakes madly when i take it up to eighty. im readin up a little more on the problem but i plan on buying new lower ball joints, outter tie rods, LCAs, caster arms and steering rack bushings. hope that fixes it.
hahajoey - man thats awesome to hear! i really cant wait to throw these on. from reading the new aristo hyper rev, spring rates look like 9F and 6.3R... hope its not too stuff (for my tastes atleast)

yeah definitely change the lower ball joints in the front. tire rods aren't too much, you can get them from sewell lexus online for a good price. get it all from sewell lexus actually, they have probably the best prices around. i don't know about changing the rear lcas, i haven't heard anything about that. GATO might be able to give you some more tips.
