Roll or Shave Rears? 93 LS400 (UCF11?)

Hey guys, I am looking to do some fender mods to my rear fenders.  Should I have the fender lip shaved (does this involve cutting pinch welds that SHOULD be rewelded?) or rolled/pulled out.  Same question with the front fender lips ( I have the top two fender lining screws taken out as it is right now).

Any opinions appreciated..

yup, can't give you any advice withouth the specs of your wheels...but i wouldn't cut your inner fenders, i would roll them if anything...

I want to run low low offset wheels so I want to make sure I have the space for them.

I always hear about UCF people shaving their fenders (cutting the inner lips where the outer panel is to make the inside flat).  I believe I heard the metal on the UCF is hard to roll or something??

Mista, you've rolled and pulled your fenders out relatively far if I'm not mistaken, right, no cutting?

first firgue out the offsets you want to run, like what is 'low low' to you?  once you determine approx what offset you want to run, THEN determine how much your fenders will need to come out if any...
 
here's where the UCF1x stands IMO for the rears
 
10" +15 ... just some camber, stretch tire and minor rolling
 
10.5" +2 ... roll out about 1", stretch tire and camber is a must.
 
11" -30 ... wide body.
 
 
it all comes down to how much work are you willing to put into it...

I shaved mine with an angle grinder, it's good for 10'' +10-15ish with a bit of camber and tire stretch.

From those numbers it really seems like rolling/pulling can actually give more spacing if done properly, if I am not mistaken.

I dont think I would be going anymore aggressive than those offsets VIP-UCF.  Thank you very very much.

What about the front fenders, same question.

I am running a + 12 on the rear rolled mine because the fenders are stronger that way and also rolled the fronts.

yeah i rolled and pulled... more than i think i should have imo.... but it grew on me, and i like it more everyday. no shaving, " I " wouldnt recommend shaving or cutting the lip off cuz of the possibility of the 2 panels separating... 

when i first got my first set of rims, i just rolled the lip flat for 19x10 +25, no cambering...
