OK I had this design in my head, so I finally had some time to put it on the screen...it still needs some more work, but you get the idea. [img]http://img188.imageshack.us/img188/597/untitled1copy7ti.jpg[/img]
It looks nice, good quality etc. but it looks a bit too techy/urban for Vip imo. I think it's because of the arrows and blockiness. I do like the font you chose for VIP though.
if you use cursive for the "stylecars" part, it'd look pretty JDM VIP'ish. ;)

Yes I think I will make the arrows hollow and change the font of the stylecars.com and bring the VIP letters a bit closer together.

For some reason I don't see the finesse and elegance. Yes, it needs to be bold but has to be sutle at the same time.

Like I've mentioned befoe it is a ROUGH draft...and your suggestions are welcome...so instead of bashing the idea, come up with some constructive criticism. Thank you.

have the file in ".ai" or ".psd"? you should upload a link to the file to a site ([url]http://www.rapidshare.de/[/url] or [url]http://www.megaupload.com/[/url]) so people can do some editing to it and they can show what they did to the original.
these files were created by [b]yakuzaSoarer[/b] so if anything PM him.
yakuzasoarer is my twin brother and he is out in Charelston, SC for the week at an American Port Authority meeting so I will take up for him. He found the design on VWvortex where the cars were Golfs and Jettas... He modified it to fit VIP and van. He has no ambition to pursue it any further than it is since he really didn't come up with the idea from scratch... just like you didn't Dark. -Rick

Althought I like the SC because I have one, the Aristo one is so badass. I would love one on a shirt as well. Maybe we can twist his arm to pursue it :)

what about a hoodie? but if you want shirts, my buddy does screen printing. back to topic, since the arrows are pointing out maybe the letters should be a little wider as well. :P

I will do some work work on the logo on wednesday when I'm done with my midterms. I will have to start all over because I saved the logo as a jpeg. So here are the changes I have in mind: 1) Hollow arrows 2) stylecars.com in cursive letters 3) Bring VIP letters closer together and then stretch them out I like the cars with arrows and I think I know how to make them...it's just that this logo is a bit more universal, so all the members can use them even if they don't have an aristo, a soarer or other cars that have allready been done. Plus it actually says which club/site we belong to...so if someone wants to make it into a sticker and put it on their car, they are more than welcome to do so.

How do you do it for each car? Which program do you use b/c i want to use my car as a pic.
Well there's a website that has blueprints for majority of the cars on the road. I took the rear view of the JP Y33 cima, and using photoshop filled in the white areas with black, and outlines with white, I also lowered it, put on wider wheels and added arrows.
