PANCAKES! Meets AIMGAIN!!!!!

Well the time has come! After about a two month wait, my Aimgain kit and exhaust finally arrived at Auto Fashion yeterday! I am really excited to see how this will look and all come to gether. I'm also curious to see how this exahust sounds! The car is back to stock (except for air) and should be off for paint sometime next week! I'll keep you guys posted! THANK YOU AUTO FASHION!!!

Fredizle, I say thanks because if it wasn't for you I wouldn't even be in "VIP" or now what the hell it is. I'd still be stuck on fixing up Probes, Eclipses and 240s. Having no knowledge of fitment or how to really build a nice ride!

Yea, I found out they were E-class lights after I had already bought them but oh well!
I think I might have payed around $230 or so..... It's all good cause it's here now!

I really like the color I have so I will keep it the same!
By the end of Augest there will be 3 Silver Y33s and one silver LS fully done,

Damn 6G's......gonna be a while b4 I can spend like that. Every Car here with exhaust sounds very good you shoul dbe quite satisfied.. Makes me want exhaust next. Make sure to post a sound clip when you get the exhaust installed.

It won't be that aggressive/loud because I'm jus gonna do the rear exhaust and leave the 2 muffalrs alone since I'm hearing that my car will be way too loud if I touch those....

:shrug:[/quote]It'll sound good. I have just the rear section and I like how the V8 sounds. Its very low and deep, far from ricey. It is louder than stock, but not to the point of where it is annoying and loud inside the cabin. You'll love it. I can try to get a video of it later.

So Benji, you still have resonators, no pre-mufflers, and Magnaflow exhaust right? Did you get bigger piping, like 2.25"? I want to do the same thing, but I don't want it too loud. I just want a low,deep, mello exhaust note. Nothing like a 5.0 sound.:smiley-rofl:

Piping looks to be 3" and everything besides that is still stock. I'll try to get a vid of it idling and revving tonight for you guys.

I am not sure what they are running here but the cars are not loud at all.

One of my friends has a '97 Q with a single tipped rear muffalr and he switched the two rear muffalrs to Magniflows and it sounds perfect especially at idial!

there's many member's on here who have or are buliding that year Q and have many parts left-over or availible!!!! Im stoked for you bro.  I cant wait to see what it looks like.  Make sure to ask how the fitment of the kit was.  Did they have to do any trimming or anything like that.  Thats good info for the rest of us.  Ive had body kits fit like crap before.  Im waiting on pins and needles to see  your car.  Aimgain is one of my favorite kits.  Did you get the emblem for your read deck lid??  I love that cause it looks like an AMG badge....  Well, sorta.

Im sitting hear at work going crazy and feeling an antzy adrenlin rush!!!! :runcoold: 
I pick the car up in a coouple hours then it's off to AF for the exhaust install then to my brother C4president's house for all the detailed installs!!! Then off to HIN tomorrow morning!!!
SO axious to see how it looks! Especially after seeing ANTBO's Q finished last night!!!! 
I also miss the car in general. Benn w/o it for almost a month now! :sad: 
 
When I was ordering the kit I was going through the shopping list of parts Aimgain had!! but the prices for all there parts are PRICY!!! So for now I just got the most important parts! (The kit, fog lights, exhaust!) But I plan on aquring all them badges very soon!!! I agree on that trunk badge! That's the main oone I want and the one that's in script that goes on the fender! I decied that instead of changing the badges to cima/nissian, I change them to AimGain badging! Since the car is almost a complete AimGain.......

did he ever get to buy the chrome mouldings for the bumpers on time? me and ant had hard time finding those damn shits! luckily he picked the last bunch at pepboys tho :giggity: ... props to the shop that finished his car on time, it takes about a couple days to get the left over compound in the cracks, i should know because i friggin detail at the shop! :pat:
