thanks caoboy, emerald ;), bippu 10

T61 turbo (.84AR Hot .70AR Cold), 40mm wastegate, SSQV on cold side, Apexi twin chamber on hot side, 12x24x3 intercooler, TT headgasket, ARP headstuds, 440cc injectors, apexi neo afc , greddy timing belt umm and a couple of other goodies i can't think of right now.

I'm just havin fun with it. Not looking to do any ridiculous HP numbers. I haven't dyno'd it yet. It already has 7k miles on the turbo and I installed it in the beginning of march i think it was...LMAO I did have a run in with a GTO this past week and his face was priceless when i slowly pulled on him. Next thing I know i was half a car and then a full car. I figured it must've been a 04' but im not sure what year i just know i should have taken a picture of his face...LOL

Welcome GSoup its me Soarerflame from ClubNA-T. How goes the boosting. Are you running both BOVs vented to atmosphere? Or are you using the decelaration air feature of the AFC with the hotwire maf? Did you eliminate the maf? Let me know man. it looks real good.

Thought you were gonna say Sportmax. Then realized that the wheels were to wide for SportMax's. Hey GSoup how is the turbo return gasket holding underneath the turbo?

I had too many problems with mine and deiced fuck it and tapped that joker to accept a freaking -10 return fitting. GOnna do the same to the top of the turbo too.

Hey post some dynosheets

My boy G does have a nice ride and is one hell of a guy as well. However he is waaayyy too modest. That GS300 is a total beast, so dont sleep on it. He wants to turbo just about everything he touches. He almost had me with a JDM 2JZ in my 92 LS. Such a bad influence. LOL!!!
Anyway, G if you gonna give it to em,, do it right man!!

I had issue with the return and the feed lines which basically crumbled on me. I replaced that with a SS line. I still once in a blue get a drip from the feed flange. Other than that I ve been ok. I still haven t had a chance to dyno it but i believe i should be around 270-290 range. Tony aka. NYAristo thinks I m pushing more than that when we took a ride together.

i did test the car against a GTO the other day and I was shocked that i took him by about a car on him. The look on his face was priceless though. :)

I should be dyno ng it soon and I ll post up the sheets then. thanks guys

yeah man that little drip that you get everyonce in a while can be rather annoying. I have decided to sell my setup and motor and tranny and spring for a 1JZ setup with R154 to be more "JDM" but gonna do a GTE bottom end for shits and giggles. LOL! Let me know how it goes. On the dyno man I think you are gonna put down about 290-310 with that setup.

you should be pushing decent power on 10psi since you went na-t (higher comp pistons then turboed bottom end)

a 1jz head on 2jz block is called a 1.5jz :) we cressida guys do jz swaps too you know :)

glad to see somone who runs there car and keeps it clean.

my buddy had a mk3 supra with a 1jz-gte in it psuhing 12 psi... then he wrecked it.. i had a chance to pick it up for 800$ :( i feels sad just thinking about it.

Sorry guys I haven't been on here in a while.

I'm trying to get some video soon.

I dyno'd it the other day because I'm about to upgrade the fuel system and tranny.
The car did 274HP/278lbs torque @ 7lbs. I think I could have gotten more hp. I had a slight exhaust leak and my sparkplugs needed to be replaced. Either way I'll keep you posted on my results.

I'll say he's probably on stock headgaskets, OR at most the supra TT headgasket, but probably not.

7psi is NOTHING for the GE motor, you could run about 14 PSI tuned and be safe.

gas mileage depends on how you drive it son.

274HP is nothing, people run about 350-450 before the transmission starts slipping. build the transmission for about 1-2k, and you have to start worrying about leaning out the motor, other related plms before it blows up. Cast iron blocks rule . GE head actually flows better than the GTE head stock for stock.

That's all i know. Search more on CL, clubna-t.com, etc.

I do believe 400 is pushing it, without a valve body upgrade at least. that and you may just want to spend the money on a race transmission. You should contact 'JeffTsai' on CL, that dude went crazy with his Na-T before he finally switched over to GTE.

JPI out of Texas worked with AEM to get the first set of EMS out for public sale, costs something like 1799 plus tuning. WELL worth the investment. Only thing i personally think is better than EMS would be HKS F-Con V pro. Then again full HKS cars are awesome lol.

JPI out of Texas worked with AEM to get the first set of EMS out for public sale, costs something like 1799 plus tuning. WELL worth the investment. Only thing i personally think is better than EMS would be HKS F-Con V pro. Then again full HKS cars are awesome lol.

Jeff was beating on his tranny with no cooler no vb upgrade, completely stock. he wanted to see what it can handle. Of what I know he was running it at around 400 and it never completely failed.

400whp GS...mmm....

The best mpg I got was on highway runs. I ran 100 miles on a quarter tank . The only thing is I was run a leaned out tune for long highway runs. I had the AFR high 15-16. NYC driving kills me with the stop and go. i usually get anywhere from 200-350+ miles depending how hard I'm on it.

coco-puffs;109433 wrote:How reliable are NA-Ts? And how's gas mileage (or shall I not even ask)? Also are you still on stock gaskets?

10K+ miles and still running. I have TT headgasket with ARP headstuds and the Greddy blue timing belt on it. Everything else is stock.

Yeah the HP i was running is nothing. I had an exhaust leak and vacuum leak. I knew my car was running 100% but I was at a friends shop and they threw it on the dyno free of charge just to see what i was running. Since then the car has been fixed and running beautifully. I'm working on the motor as we speak. I'll post up the #s once I'm boosting @1 bar +.

Yeah, JeffTsai on CL is crazy, but I love his write ups. Too bad he hasn't updated them recently. I saw the video of his 400hp NA-T and it looked sweet.

and 200-250miles/tank isn't bad at all. I average about that much too on a stock GS4.

Now, is 290whp (I think that's what you said on page1 or 2) a pretty conservative figure for the mods you have? and keep us updated :).

yeah but i got those dyno numbers with an exhaust leak and a vacuum leak. I've since fixed those issues. I've done some other mods to the motor. I will update you soon with new dyno sheet :)
