Popular VIP wheels
Maybe just me but Eurolines are Extremely popular here (In fukuoka) I would say 80% of the VIP cars I have seen or big body sedans in general have either Eurolines or SSR Vienna dish on them. Pretty crazy.

Id much rather see that all the time then the stupid generic dub wheels that everyone around here rocks.
I still dont get why they rock those emblems on front fenders that show what size their wheels are. Oh well, to each his own.

IMO the euroline DH (2nd gen) belongs in the wheel hall of fame.
it really is a very nice, time tested design. Quite possibly the KING DISH of all dish designs, the most efficient design for more lip without the obvious curved face.

I think the Kranze or Leon Hardirt(I think that is how you spell it), looks like they are popular in the VIP World these days.

Lorinser RS8 seems popular in my Vip mags
Back in the day, OZ Futura, and BBS meshes

yeah, Euroline and Vienna are pretty popular but also pretty dated, like the Veilsides. The Kranze Series is a little old too but they always come out with new models. Personally I would get more stuff less common, i feel its more unique. Like Traffic Stars, Leon Hardiritt, Junction Produce, Garson or Fabulous. Work and SSR are way too common and accessible.
I'm not a big fan on euro style wheels on a JDM vip car either. like Brabus and Lorinser. And I dont like Lowenharts either (Over priced Racing Harts).

Magazines are different though, your going to see a vriety of things. But the averge consumer for VIP wheels here seem to buy euroline DH I see them on EVERYTHING, vans sedans, minivans, box cars (Bb). Most common coars I have been seeing are Celsior, Majesta(newest model freaking in love) and Cima(y33) and Gloria. A friend was telling the Cedric/Gloria are fairly cheap so he sees alot of them. Saw a nice ass 2nd Gen GS with Pearl White with Black Interior and Curtains. I wish I had my camera. There is a spot here where a bunch of VIP car owners gather, maybe I can meet some folks while here? But yeah I just wanted to say that DH seem to be the Kng of VIP wheels here.

as common as the DH is, I kinda wish I got the DH instead of the d3s.
the DH just gives off so much lip, and it's simple dish gives off a nice windmill affect.
DH king dish for sure.

I gots to admit I think them DH are sick ass wheels and would not cared if they are played out or not..Id rock em..I love my Vielsides though..I think another king of dish in my book!
Dont know how many of you were modding cars in the late 80's early 90's but those remind me of the styles of wheels that Primes made or Primax what ever. of course back then they were 15' wheels but fools be rockin 15x12 reveresed everywhere you go...that style of modding really ties into Japanese VIP and I allways wondered if they pulled some of those styling Q's from those days..

Yeah I noticed that myself. The similarity between those prime wheels and DH's I just don't remember the prime wheels being 2 piece construction.

Na they are One piece I believe.. If you every have the chance drive down to C and J on paloverde..They have one wheel thier that looks just like the DH with polished lips..I think they are primes..I had a set myself on a Mustang back in those days..My buddy had some on a maxima the square body ones..the more I think about it the more I think that his shit loooked like the VIP today..We got the drop from having 15 wheels but with small stretched tires so the wheel was like 3-4 inches lower than stock..speed bumps where a bitch and on party nights we would always be rubbing the fenders..back then we did not think to roll them we just delbt with it and had a good night....

The wheel is timeless. The big flat face makes the wheel look larger then it is and it hides the calipers and brakes which is a big plus IMO for VIP style cars (no need to spend lots of cash on Big pretty brake kits when your not going past 45 mph ;). I had to pick up a similiar set because you just cant go wrong with this wheel.

Nothing wrong with 18" wheels. Vip is all about going low, and with 18s you can go lower than you can on 20s. Especially on older cars 20" wheels often look too big
Here's my contribution to the tribute to DH's... 18" of course
