My Q45 with Work Euroline DH in chrome 19x9 -12, 19x10 -29
I've been rolling on these for a few weeks now, but just now getting around to finding my point and shoot digicam and snapped some progress pics. Excuse my photography skills, I don't know how to shoot. I also had my friend Chris Kuehl shoot the car this past weekend and will get the rest of his pics up when modifiedmotion.com launches in about 2 weeks. And for reference, the specs are as follows:
Work Euroline DH (chrome) 19x9 -12, 19x10 -29
Falken FK452 225/35/19, 235/35/19
IMPUL lowering springs, oem struts/shocks
Max negative camber (-7.5 degrees) in the rear maxing out the oem eccentric camber bolts and S14 rear upper camber arms, S13 rear toelinks
Y33 Cusco front upper camber pillowball plates set to max negative camber adjustability (-3.5 degrees)
Rolled front fenders, rolled and 1/4" pulled rear fenders
BTW, I just tried out that Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Detailer spray, and its the best detailing spray ever. I can't believe how well this stuff works, omg, lol. Darkened my paint and worked well on the wheels' lips. I'm never going back to the burgundy Meguiar's bottle. I definitely recommend this to everyone.

Thanks everyone for all the compliments. I wanted to go for the cambered look this time and so far I'm glad I did it. I'm still getting used to all kinda of mixed expressions from people on the road, but I guess its a hate it or love it type of thing.

Love the stance, seriously cool.
Dont you love all the idiots that sit in the lane next to you, right on your rear quarter, trying to figure out the camber? I bet you get that alot now :) makes it hard to change lanes but...
I am really surprised how much the Y33 can swallow up in terms of wheels, thats soo cool

Surprisingly it rides exactly the same as it did on my old Works where I didn't run any excessive camber. Though, before my alignment, my rear toe was way out of spec and my car wanted to steer itself into other lanes when I hit bumps. I found out my rear tires were like this: //

OMG!!!! Benji those offset are unreal!!!! I had no idea you could go that far and it look like that. Your car has always be an inspiration to me. Yours and Chupacabrio (no longer on here). Now with your new wheels I am head over heel, the rear fitment is DOPE!!! I have to get my car lower and camber more. Where did you source the camber plates? How is tire wear with the rear camber?

Thanks. That spray is good, I'm not saying it god's gift to detailers, but its a big step up from the original Meguiar's Quick Detailer and I'll be sure to keep a bottle in my trunk at all times.

Thanks man, yea I wanted to try to push the envelope some with these wheels. I bought the Cusco Y33 front upper camber plates from a Yahoo Japan Auction, I'm sure there's more of them. I wish I could add more camber with them, but they'll do. I definitely recommend them for those guys running the UAS setups. As for tire wear, these are brand new tires and I haven't driven on them for more than 1000 miles yet, I'm sure the inside is wearling slightly more, but I think I would have to take the wheel off the car to get a better look at it.

Let us know about the tire wear in the future!
Also do you plan on getting air in the future?

With the camber plates if adjusted to the max you might see about a centimeter -.5" drop in the rear if stock camber is not enough for you then get the adjustable camber arms and add more camber..I am about -5 Benji is -7+...To bad I did not Waite for camber arms because I probably would not have need such a heavy pull....So keep in mind the more camber you have the lower you car will be as well. Good to keep in mind for your ride height. places where you just cleared now might not clear and scrape something..cant Waite to see you car soon!!!!

I'm not planning on getting air anytime soon. It would be nice though. Is it true that the airrunner kits don't have built-in camber plates? I thought they had them, but I don't know, I've never seen the actual units, just the cars with them on. Well, here's a few more pics for reference.
Y33 Cusco front pillowball upper mounts (its funny how they spelled "pillowball")
Part number: 253 410 A
I will mention that just by switching to these mounts from the oem mounts will not lower the car any lower in the front, they have the exact same mounting point. I was banking on it dropping the car an inch or so, but I was wrong. It does tighten up the frontend slightly.
Here's 2 pics I realized I had that was taken before I added camber up front. These were with the oem front mounts.

Yea, they are awkward with the fronts not cambered in. The mounting points are the same and it didn't lower my car any different than the oem mounts. I thought they were going to lower it slightly as well, and one of the main reasons why I picked them up, but I was wrong. Even cambered in, it doesn't camber in enough to pull the lip up to the fender like my rears did where it closed the gap. I got them for about $250 shipped on Yahoo Japan Auctions using Rinkya.com to bid/ship them.

cvc9216 confirmed in a thread awhile back that they were a no-go, I think due to spacing for the 3 bolts on the upper Y33 plate being different than his S14's. I was hoping they were the same because the TEIN pillowball upper mounts are easy to come by. If I had an S14 to test, I'd try it myself with my oem mount that is just laying here.

I can confirm that the front upper mounts are NOT the same as any other commonly modified Nissan (at least not stateside). I took my tape measure to an import parts shop and measured up all sorts of cars, S13, 14, 15, R32, R33, R34, Z32 etc, even started going to Mazdas and Toyotas, but no luck.
Benji if you are looking for more camber up front you can always modify the upper plates, or even get some more made up - the plates are pretty simple when you look at it, most machining places should be able to knock something up with an enlarged centre hole
Tyrewear shouldnt be so bad on the rear if your toe is set up right. I was running for 9 months on 6.5 deg camber and misaligned toe (could see the sawtooth pattern in the tyre tread) before i had to flip the tyres.
Once again, congrats on an awesome outcome. I think i want new wheels now!

Benji;81126 wrote:cvc9216 confirmed in a thread awhile back that they were a no-go, I think due to spacing for the 3 bolts on the upper Y33 plate being different than his S14's. I was hoping they were the same because the TEIN pillowball upper mounts are easy to come by. If I had an S14 to test, I'd try it myself with my oem mount that is just laying here.
coo', thanks for the info

Ok good to know. Yea, I was hoping the center holes were going to be slightly larger, I might have a machine shop enlarge them, but its not like I really need more camber to fit the wheels. I just wanted them to have the same amount of camber as the rear, but it can wait. Treadwear I hope will last a while. I got the specs of the camber/toe degrees from the alignment shop and I can see why I was getting that same sawtooth pattern in the tread just from my 30 mile drive up to the alignment shop. Toe is on point now and the car feels so much more stable when going over bumps. Thanks again for the compliments guys. Its cool to see others are appreciating whats been done to the car so far.

Thanks everyone. As of right now I think that is going to be it for awhile with adding to the car until I find another set of wheels at are 19x10/11 with similar fitment. Modifiedmotion.com will be launching any day now and will have the rest of the photoshoot pics up. I've seen some of the pics and they can definitely make my car look better than it really is, lol.
