My 80s Honda Beater *pics*

My CRX has been hated by the "Honda" tuners for about 2 years now. :2funny:
One of my friends that is into vip showed me this site.
I don't think its VIP but it could be a bit jdm race/euro cruise style. lol
Beats me. I just knew how i wanted to build it and never thought of what tuner genre it would fit into. lmao

Last years photos. 13x8 -4 offset wheels

New Photos from March. new 15x8 zero offset wheels painted gold and front new lip

Re: My 80s Honda Beater *pics*

Whats fitment?.... Joking
The front end is some what twisted.
I bought the car for 300 dollars. Frontend was wrecked.
I had to go to work on it with some strong arms, over sized pliers, and a 5ft pry bar.
Just to get the core support bolted on straight again.
Anything that is supposed to fit on oem CRX, needs a bit of TLC to go on my CRX. lmao
I plan to make new brackets for the bumper this month.
Its only on with zip-ties right now.

Sick ass car!

Im loving it. With the way the rims are, its looks almost as if you are on slicks.

Wow, that is so much better than other CRXs over here!
I really like the overfenders and the fact that your wheels are nice and deep, throwing away the high-offset image.

Thats probably it. I used to skate at the park, but haven't been for a while due to school and work.

On a side note. There is a big meet on april 30th at Coxs park right down the road from the skate park.

a number of the new small fwd japanese cars in japan can accept staggered fitments, and in fact, if you want the wheels to be equally-flush front and rear, you actually *have* to run staggered fitment.

the wheels are made by PLS. japan and europe have no qualms with staggard fitments on FF, so why does the U.S? I can't really figure it out. I had staggard fitments on the old jetta to get the wheels to sit flush with each other, AND because I liked the way it looked and lets be serious, its a Jetta (or a CRX). It isn't some track monster, it doesn't rely on extreme handling characteristics day in and day out... What is so obnoxious about it? Some people might say that the cars that your shop produces are obnoxious and a sickness to the true scene, yet I can stop them and tell them to learn to appreciate something about everything.

I personally think that these ideas get into your head from somewhere else and you hold onto them with all you got to try and prove something to somebody...???
