Florida VIP/EXE meet location

I am highly considering setting up a meet in Florida.  There are a few dates that I am considering.  First we all next to decide on a location so that the majority of people are happy and willing to come.  remember Florida is not all that big so don't get discouraged if the location chosen isn't in your immediate area.

The easiest place for me to set it up would be Tallahassee, Ft. Lauderdale, or Orlando.  So if we choose outside there I am going to need some help from your local guys on possible venues.

I am down for Orlando, wife's sister lives there and it gives us an excuse to go see them. Also I might be down there soon to use our timeshare at Westgate Resort.

Alright guys try and spread the word we need as many people as we can get, before we choose a final destination.  Remember anyone can attend if there willing to make the drive (Florida, Georgia, Alabama..ect)

So, how's the planning for this one going? I don't want it to end up going nowhere.

I have tried to spread the word out and I have talked to some people and they said they will definitely be there, just need a date. Is it still sometime in Dec.

I am currently supee busy but I have not given up on the event.  As of now the event is going to held in Orlando.  I am currently looking into places to hold the event.  If any of you local guys no of a spot please let me know

Orlando FTW!  You should hook up with the Deepvision.net pepz and try to have them help promote it. I know they do lots of O town parties and car related ish.  Hopefully I'll be VIP by the time this gets off the ground

The thing about deepvision is that sometimes is it becomes a massive HONDA meets, just look at the lollicup meets they help. They are good people though.

^ True, but if they sponsor it AS a VIP meet maybe it would be different.  If not, I may be able to at least get a few of the photographers to come out.  Again, I can only hope to have a y33 by then.

Blue Jacket looks like it could be a SICK photo op..... I don't really know much else about it though.  

Also, I am getting my y33 shipped here next week I hope.

+1 for Orlando, or even Jacksonville..  Im a photographer for [URL="http://tunerzine.com"]tunerzine.com[/URL]  so definitely would like to attend, and find some nice VIP's to feature on the site.

these looks like a great location... If we can all park on the grass or if there is a big parking lot that would work too...

I apologize for the wait guys I have had a really intense semester. I am preparing to apply to med-school...

Anyway I am still going to plan this event, obviously it will not be in December.  I would like to give everyone a few months to plan ahead.  Therefore I am considering holding it closer to the summertime, in the Orlando area.



I will check out these parks and let everyone know the final destination as soon as I know.

Again I am sorry for the delay.  But I would like this to be done the right way, with the highest number of cars.

i am down for a meet.. but i drive a honda.. may be soon i will get my LS.. if not i will rock the slammed accord..

It's not really anything to do with VIP persay, but it's a meet for exotic cars and such.
It's over by the Books-A-Million at winter park village. I don't think it's going on anymore though.

Weather-Its a rain or shine event but when we say Rain we mean light rain or scattered storms, If its a hurricane type deal, or a complete wash out type of day we will refund everyone and move the show date. We will refund all paypal pre-registers but you knw how the weather is down here. It can rain like horses and than turn into a great day.

-If you pre-register and up to the day before the event decide that you don't want to come because of weather than please send your email to me at [email]mayorathome@aol.com[/email] up to the day before the event and we will refund you. But if the show goes on and you come and leave, don't show up cuz it was raining by you, you will not be refunded unless you email that you aren't coming the day before the show, Not the same day or morning, it has to be the day before the show. For any VIP owners that want to come to the event I have to stress that you need to pre-register.Due to the large interest in this event we are limited to how many cars show up and can only allow those who register because of limited parking.Once all the parking is taken up and if more show they will have to park in another area and walk over..

I have a shop/used car dealership in Orange City with lots of yardspace, lot and a gas station across the street which the owner would welcome us (not to mention he consistently has the lowest gas prices in the area).

well we still got till the summer to plan this out!
 as far as we know it WILL be held in orlando since i guess orlando is in the center of FL and easy to get too.
 All we need now is the DATE!

I think Blue Jacket park is just rite for a "VIP" background
 and august 9th would be a great date being that its still some time away and its a sunday less ppl working and or in school.

in Miami Beach Convention center. Thats where they had the DUB show and HIN.

I take it nothing really happened with this but XDC is in march at cfrc with car show

there are many places that can work in the area. First......plan it right from the beginning. Have a group or team of people start making a nice flyer....a nice one that catches attention (no date announced) distribute it in plenty of forums, facebook whatever! 
look for 3 possible locations and ask if its free parking etc. set location and set date as well. Beginning of summer or end of summer, people usually travel in mid-summer. 
make real flyer and booom. Have a DJ, maybe try to get some aspiring models (<10) and one of those food trucks!!!
