Any VIP cars with rims without lip?
Is there any? Or suits every VIP-car lip rims? I'm asking cause I bought rims just before I decided to build my car in VIP-style. My rims are MiM Amalfi S1. Please post a pic, if you know that like VIP-car. =)

Mine doesn't have lip but I still need spacers to poke them out right. Lip verses a full face rim or even a lipless with concave face doesn't really matter. What does matter is fitment, and overall style....the wheel can't be too sporty and can't be too gaudy.... most important thought is fitment.
Gotta be hella flush to successfully pull of VIP styling.

Sure, but those wheels will not allow you to pull it off.

Of course. I also agree with 'yakuzaSoarer'. Those wheels will not work. Check out Mikey's 'no-othr' Q45 Y33.

^ agreed. This car made me start including full face wheels in my search for the wheel for my q. The ones I've ended up with are fine.....maybe a little too sporty for some, but again with proper fitment, no lip is great. The wheels you included in your post also look a little too OEM for my taste. I have an idea why don't you buy mine.....LOL they are for sale you know.
Nevermind I just figured you were in finland....

The wheels in the OP (that I didn't see before) remind me of OEM Miata wheels.
Definitely not on the road to Vip with those unfortunately..

In fact, My car's style is not only just VIP, I named my car's style "VIP OEM+" that is original "project name" of my car, so it is pretty good that my rims remind you of OEM. =)

Vip OEM mix makes sense...if the OEM is Lexus, Mercedes, or BMW...not Miata.
C4President's car is a good example. Brabus wheels certainly aren't OEM, but they're classy enough to pass as OEM, just really good looking.

new hereborrani hr4. no lip means definitely needing spacers and a good drop. im running 20x9 all around and even the fronts could use a 10mm poke and the rears could use a 15+mm. as you can see im in desperate need of air. waiting for easy street prolly :)
its all about getting them to fit right.
p.s. dont buy diamondnutz! not worth it bad quality. if you want nice lugnuts go with the garson crystals. $$$ though
bad pictures. tripod coming soon.

The lip is not needed but as someone said, you will need spacers to get them to fit nice on most VIP cars.

^ monoblocks are usually one piece. Dish may be multipiece but with a fuller face.

it's 7x17. If wheel is wider, so in Audi 80 it would be outlaw in here Finland...
And tires are Vredestein 215/45R17 Ultrac.

Your Q looks real nice. I always liked this model. With the right body kit your car will straight look mean. Go with a parfume body kit. would look perfect with your wheels. Also I thought Hrs go wider than 9s.

so there are regulations for sizing? or does that mean your ride would be considered a different styling? If regs are involved then you should just go w/ it or sell them. They look really sporty but i'm sure on an audi the mateing would look fine. If you wanna keep them then i would say be sure you have a nice sporty stance and keep it simple, not too agressive. Make it clean...
