thank you all for the kind words. before buying the car i did 6 months research on the ucf 10. before all i knew was fixing up lil cars. then something caught my eye on the internet, it was a full out toyota celsior. lil did i know the style has been out for awhile but not everyone choose to do it. looking back at nesei and chinatown showoff gave me ideas to make my toyota celsior one of a kind. i started going on different forums to see what other members have. there many different clean vip cars out here in united states i look up to those guys!!! gave me motivation to continue my ucf10 project...being the youngest member of age 22 in team high intenzity, i thought i would step it up a notch be more mature like the rest of the team and prove myself that i belong in team high intenzity. my plans was to try and make it to nesei with them...i started the project on february. i had 6 months to complete the project..sadly mommy and daddy never supported me financially. so i had to part out my scion tc show car. still till this day im still short of funds itching my way to nesei 2007. im afraid that i wont make that show. i dont go to shows to compete anymore. someone named GREYSON told me, "  once u go vip theres no such thing as competing. vip is all about being mature having fun and enjoying what you've accomplished  " i took those words for more motivation. but i do would like to debut the car at HIN 2007 LA. we will just have to see................

my wheels..they're a bit small. they are 18x8.5 +37 offset(front)
                                                               18x9.5 +30 offset(rear)

the grill i got it straight from japan..

most parts i got straight from japan

and the others are from other members in this forum that got  it also from japan

you need spacers... j/k
 
looks like you definately have a project in the works.  Going to be fun seeing it piece together.  Not a lot of people do it your way, but I like your way better.  Have everything THEN  put it on the car.

what suspension are you going to run for this setup? Everything looks great, can't wait to see the car materialize!

I'm excited to see it all put on. I like that exhaust set-up you have for it too. You should post up some exhaust clips when you get it installed.:smiley:

the suspension im going to run are the JIN spec coilovers from japan..

it is the only set here in the US. i got it special ordered from japan a few months ago and barely arrived on my front door just last week.

ppl ask me why not get airunner . airunner is no doubt to the best way to go..its soo much easier

but i was looking up my hyper rev issue for the ucf 10 and they seem to all run with the coilovers...or stock air suspension. and also coilovers for the ucf10 are very rare and the brand u can get for it if available are the JIC's. thats why i went with the JIN spec coilovers

everything is getting put on now...the bodyshop just painted the whole inside . the paint job is a trippy color!!! its black with gold pearl. when you bring the car out in the sun all you see is the gold and when u put it in the shade its just glossy black

What pearl did you use?  I did something similar with HOK Ice Gold Pearl.

Replying to the question bout the pearl... I actually don't know the specific pearl to that gold. I have to double check on that. I told the paintshop to make me a custom color but something not to crazy. And they said they used the strongest black they had and mixed gold into it

show some pics of the black and gold flake.  Would be nice to have a sunny shot and an overcast shot and a night shot to compare.

what happened here? theres a pretty large primer spot on the driver door.. better hope when they respray that the color matches the rest of the car... very nice none the less....

im not quite sure if im going to sell it yet..it was just an idea. we will just have to see after all is done. i want to work on another project. dont know what else.. but what do you guys think? should i sell this car? or should it be a keeper

Don't you think you should wait to see first?  I mean you haven't even got to enjoy it all finished?  Seems extremely premature to me.

oh theres no doubt...imma enjoy this ride. the day i take it out of the shop on thursday to put the exhaust system on. imma cruise the car with my girl everywhere. driving place to place till its time for roll in for hot import nights on friday.. thats what i do to all my cars after they get outta the shop. even though i tried selling it right now, it will take awhile for a buyer to actually be serious to come through.(from the 10 other cars ive sold) :smiley:

Lot's of money......I wonder if you'd get it back??......Why dump sh*tload's of cash into a car that your only going to own for a little while??.......I think some people take this culture for more of a fad......It's a lifestyle......What would you replace it with??......VIP???.......Drifter???.......Sorry if my comment's seem a little harsh and athough they do apply, they're not initialy directed at you, it's just funny how many people come, build somthing, get over the whole 'Vee Eye Pee' thing and end up back to Civic's,180's or whatever else.......I can't really talk as I DONT own a VIP Car, manly due to me being a student and having lack of fund's......like you my mummy and daddy didn't help either.......BUT I can assure you I have VIP Blood, and my dream car is the one your building at the moment.....albeit a little different but the same platform.......Good luck with the build, sorry for the flaming, like I said it wasn't initialy directed at you. Just since VIP's been 'noticed' there's alot of people that come and go.......(To let everyone know, I didn't leave, I just went on a holiday......lol ;p )......I just think it's sad.......BUT your UCF10 is HAWT!!!  hot import nights weekend is finally over :)

oh dont worry i wont go back to a civic or 180 i had plenty of those already. im still staying in the vip scene. the first time i saw a vip car i fell in love man...i stopped working on my tC showcar and started to do more and more research on the celsiors especially the ucf10/11's. yeah, i have built many projects in the past and this celsior i spent the most time and effort on. i actually wanna upgrade my vip status..i was wondering if i sold this celsior..i could have enough money to buy a........(sorry its a secret) hhahahaah but some ppl on the forum know what my plans are..so shhhh! but yeah i really do love my celsior and ill come back for it someday when i have enough more money. i understand  ur comment i would prolly tell someone the same thing. thanks for your honesty!

Prob because it's a big kit.  If it were lip kit all around, it may be different.  If it were a lip kit all around, you'd prob wonder why the wheels weren't hella flush ( i think that's what the cool kids are calling it these days).

Nice looking car.  I am fond of sticking to old school VIP look on the UCF10's.
