y33 owners that have pulled their quarter panels

I seriously need your help, I over induldged in my rear wheel fitment and now need about another half inch of clearance. 

I currently have 20x10 +8 with 255 35 20 tires. I need a good half inch of clearance to clear the quarters completely. My camber is maxed out at -4.5 and cannot get no more out of my oem specs.

about how much clearance can I get from a decent quarter fender pull ?

im not a y33 guy...but maybe a stretched tire...or more then what you have already done...a slight roll might just help that problem....you can probably get away with a pull also...if you happen to live in norcal talk to Van at OneTOn Garage....He will help you out with doing that for you if you cant already do it yourself.

you considered changing your suspension pieces.  Like what benji did?

I was going to suggjest a smaller tire go with a 235/30 or 235/35..if you dont mike pulling your fenders sounds like you will need about .5-1 inch pull or try radiousing them..raising the arks should help you out..Next would be after market camber kit..just keep in mind that anything more than 4.5-5 degrees of camber you will start to be riding on the inner side wall as a contact patch..and this will cuase you to burn through tires much faster..that is why I pulled and did not want to add more camber than stock plus when its lowered more its actually more camber..as the suspension drops as you know...I say radious your fenders and keep your camber where its at..make sure your toe is correct as well *)

yeah I agree with you zion, I want my camber to stay the wait it is right now. Imo it will start looking funny if I increase camber and tire wear will be affected.

I don't think radius is necessary, but pulling is a must. roughly, how much space did you achieve after your pull ?

Im running a 19x10.5 with a 245 tire.  I think you need a smaller tire.  It will definitely help clear your fenders.  Youll still get a little poke from your wheel, but thats not really a bad thing with a y33.  A little camber adjustment might be in order also.

yeah I'm planning on going with 245 35 20 and a little pull. 

I really don't want to increase the camber.

20x10 +8 my old wheels which pancakes has is a 20x10 +5 with 245 35 20 no pull what so ever or added anymore camber. you just need to cut your fenders all the way

Do you remember what the camber setting was ? was it just a natural camber?

it was just the natural camber, thats when i was using JIC. it may look like it wont clear, but it will. drop your coils lower and you'll see, you'll get a lot more natural camber

I'm gonna get narrower tires and shave the fenders down to a minimum. 


for some reason, my sumitomo 255 35 20 look super fat, kinda like 265 35 20.

yeah, thats too big of a tire for what your looking for. 
 
just try lowering maybe an 1"

just roll your fenders...when you roll, you are pushing out the quarter slightly at the same time...your .5" is really not a big issue...
