Flush or deep lips??

I have noticed more and more people asking about spacers, fittament , stretching of tires, ect..I wanted to ask members what is more important as far as looks go, flush wheels or huge lips??If someone has wheels with weak offsets and tries to correct them with spacers and because the offsets were weak the amount of lip isn't as much but now the wheels are flush because the use of spacers..I want your opinons...

low offsets and fat lips.

low offsets, as deep a lip you can get with those offsets, and be able to tuck it, flush it, or pull off that tsrachi (sp?) with the fender sitting between the lip and tire...

I like ther new full face wheels w/ the concurve look to it.......... I know alot like a negative offset but I like the wider wheels and less lip.

Not sure if your asking whats better flush and less lip or big lip and not so flush?  I would say flush with less lip is better then a sunken wheel look anyday.

VIP in the US = huge lips and flush fitment..
VIP in Japan = perfect fitment lips or not...

More like Huge lips and decent fitment give or take 10mm

So if you have a set of wheels you like but the offsets are weak and you use spacers to get a flush fittament, would it still look good??Obviously the lips will be smaller but the wheels are right at the fender..

It will always look better than stock wheels or sunk in wheels.

its one or the other not between. i'd rather alot of lip.

No, it's both. :biggthumpup:

The lip thing is funny cause on one car with maxed pulled fenders and cant camber you get 2.0 -3.5 inch lip and  a Y33 you get over 5 inch lip. So whats the real meaning of big fat lips??
 
Dont say over fenders cause anyone can do the easy way out.......... so that being said a BIG PHATT wheel when you look at it from the rear is hot no matter what style you go w/.

deep lip. where do people get those cartoon pictures of cars. like firelizards signature photo?

Tsuraichi = Putting the widest wheel, with the lowest offset, and tires only 2-5mm from the fender on your car.  

Naturally, this all depends on how much you want to modify your fenders.

Getting a fat lip is not necessarily a requirement. I've seen a lot more cars with more of a Euro style, where the face of the rim meets the outside of the lip.

i say get four spares from a Yugo and re-drill them to fit your ride and get 'em sunk all the damn way in.

oh, and get them spray painted chrome so they stand out from the murky depths of the wheel wells.  :biggthumpup:
