Another Air Suspensions VS Coilovers Issue

Number of threads discussing this Air Sus & Coilovers issue but I did not see one mentioning the advantages & disadvantages between those two. 

Can I have opinions/advice  from you guys who have been installing it on your rides?

There are much more then these but I will give you some that come to my head.
 
 
advantages of coilovers:
cheaper
easier to install
No guessing as to what height your rolling at
 
Disadvantages:
no adjustability while driving
oil changes and towing can be difficult
 
advantages of air
allows you to get lower then most coilover setups and slam the car when parked
adjustability while driving
comfortable luxury ride feel
 
disadvantages
price
install can take days, cost alot and can not be done by the regular joe
compressors can be noisey
drains your battery much quicker
you need space for 2 compressors, a tank and valves

So the air is more comfortable than the coilover. Cornering stability? 

What is your opinion on universal air suspension system that can be customised to suit any car specs? Are they good?

Comfort depends on the coilover and if it has dampening. Obviously the stiffer you dampen it, the rougher the ride will be but at the same time, that will allow you to drive lower. Cornering for the most part is better with coilovers but if you have the right air setup for that, it can give coilovers a run for their money.
 
Universal is a good brand, if you update your struts at the same time. The stock struts wont last long being that they are not made to be driven on that low (there are some people here that have driven a year on the stock struts with no problem and others that drove on them for one day until they blew).
 
Some people go with coilover then add universal airbags to that setup. This gives you the best of both worlds, cornering ability and the ability to slam it and lift it when needed.

Sounds like a good idea. Reliability wise? Can it be done on any coilovers?

You have to confirm with universal air that the diameter of the coilover isnt too big for their airbags.  THe actual bags are top notch quality.  Last I remember, they offer a warentee which is over a year but dont quote me on that.

So, basically its an airbag on top of coilover right? I'll check on universal air website for more info. Hopefully they have something for my car.

tein is teh Suck

Tein is a lot cheaper to over haul than Cusco, so I would recommend that to anyone that is worried about maintenance.

their valving is too soft, and the shock bodies are too thick for UAS

What about riding comfort?

you dont want to take my advice on that
i enjoy a harder riding car than most

but then again, i dont just DD my cars
all of htem that i build will be taken to the track eventually
