lighting options

i have been buying parts for my car for quite a while now, and know that its almost time to put it together i think i have changed my mind on some things. head/tail lights are the issue this time. i originally planned to go with a darker theme with black wheels. i bought jdm 1 pc black housing headlights and tinted red/clear tails. now i'm thinkin more of a chrome and black theme. do you think i should get all chrome headlights and untinted tails? finding someone to trade shouldn't be very hard. opinions?

NON-VIP 98 maxima with cefiro front end conversion.

I was having that same dilema,so I just looked at the closest vip platform,the y33 and decided to go 1pc chrome headlights with red/clear tails. looks sorta like a mini y33.

like these? there is a factory hid 2 pc, but the 1 pc looks so much cleaner and i hate that lil orange pc.

Or are you talking about the 2pc with the glass lens? I've seen those.

Yup,and the man behind the inspiration of the build has spoken,he he. Yeah too bad the Cefiro version 3.0 trunk and tails wont fit the max,then it would look like a baby y33 with red/clear/red tails and licencse plate on the trunk.

it'll be the i30 release. i talked to my cefiro parts guy and the hids cut the worng way (ie blind traffic) so i'm just gonna use OEM cefiro 1 pc.  black housing head lights. luckily i had some nib oem inners lying around and i bought red/clear outers. i wouldn't change the trunk for anything, i love mine (shaved everything). i will be adding a winged nissan emblem though. i also love the cefiro crystal red/clears, and 95-96 can get somethin similar but oh well. i'm putting a lot of my personal style into this, not neccessarly vip, but a blend of many different things. my final decision is to use the signature kit, cefiro front end, shaved antenna/door handles/trunk, i30 door moldings, some power folding led mirrors, black 19's, air, a couple lil jp goodies. then i'll move to the interior/electronics.

Yeah same here, I know it's not a true VIP platform but I'm using some VIp influence along with a lil sport and exe all blended together. Untill I get my Cima or Aristo

i'm probably about to grab an s14. it was my first car about 10 yrs ago and i never got to finish it before it got stolen and totaled. then when i can afford it that damn y50 jp'd down.

Y50 Fuga go hard! That would be my next choice too.

yeah that b***h replaced the 2g gs/aristo as the coldest one on my list. plus i'mma nissan rider.
