Future Of VIP..
Unlike many others that have been in the vip game for sometime, i am sorta new. Although i have familiarized myself w/ most of the products available, brands, and different interpretations i wonder how far will it go and where will i fit in. I shudder to think that because i find it interesting still. There are many improvments to make on my ride, but for now i'm semi-content (well more so after i dump it!). Right now there is still that sense of rarity in the gear that can be found for the rides, but at some point that may likely to dwindle as the facination becomes more mainstream, i think. I think the only way to avoid being the recipient of this change is to be involved within the inner workings. Much like the owners and creators of shops, sites and products, not just a consumer. Surely i can't be the only on to explore this concept? Anyone have any ideas?

The only way VIP tuning is going to be done right in this country is to have the media educate the community by getting their information from Takahiro Taketomi and not people who THINK they know whats up.
Where is it going now? Its hard to tell. VIP is still in the early growth phase.

Although Taketomi is a valued source he's not the "only" source. There are other sources in Japan as well. A consensus from the VIP tuners in Japan would also be good as they see first hand how the changes in the style occur and were it's been throughout the years. There are different eras in VIP tuning, not just one style. It's more broad than most people think it is.

That's like saying the only way a car can be considered a hot rod is if someone imitates Boyd Coddington down to every last detail.
I believe that vip enthusiests can still remain true to the essence of VIP, yet also introduce fresh ideas.
I don't think we need to treat Takahiro Taketomi as god.
He got the ball rolling, but it's up to us to carry it and keep it from going stagnant.

I'd like to say that we are all contributors. Not taking anything away from founders/co-founders. The direction will most likely be determined buy our ability to adopt and accept new and upcoming ideas.
Does anyone know what the scene in Japan is like? Sure I have VIPSTYLE/VIPCAR mags, but what about the scene there?

I think here in the US, shops like AutoFashion, PGmotoring and a few other shops here in the US are doing a great job of educating and bring VIP out the right way. As well as offering VIPmags in the US and forums like these will be some of the best ways to get the culture exposed. But personally I LOVE!!!!!! the way it is now before it blows up, because folks look at the cars for the first time and never seen anything of this style! It's the exclusiveness but we'll see........
It's also a VERY expensive culture and might not catch on to most folks for that matter........
:shrug:Am I rambling about dumb stuff? Oh well..........
Let's just be happy and enjoy it for what it is now!

I think EXE is going to explode but VIP will be rare for a while. Some people will try it and realize its not for them. At the end, money talks and people dont want to mess up their otherwise reliable high end luxury cars

I agree, EXE is what's going to get big here, because it's, well, a lot less work.
As far as the future of Vip goes, I think the best thing anybody could do for it is to stop using the label "Vip". Then everybody wants to know how to be "Vip" and they forget to just do what they like.

Most will prob disagree w/ this, but if i refer to the recent (VIP) mags i've purchased, it shows many styles of cars and i don't see too many mentioning of the distinction between vip and/or exe. Hell there was a Cady amongst the cars! The fashion isn't bias and doesn't seem the segragate brands either (euro/japanese). Are ppl reading too much into the concept? Are ppl saying that since cars don't have the severe demon camber (allowing for a lower ride then) they are EXE.? As a daily driver, the roads in my area sukk, so i would be a fool to succumb that kind of drop....and yet my friends still accept my ride as VIP. Not debating just spitting the truth.

It's about your opion and your taste for what you want your car to look like! That's why there are so many different styles in "VIP", Everybody want's to add they're own style/creative abilty to they're rides. That's what I like..... It dosen't matter what other people think it's what you want or what makes you happy! Just my opion......

Yes. VIP is much more then just lowering and putting on low offset multi peice jdm wheels.
This is why I stand by my statement that EXE will continue to grow and true VIP will take time. You seem to forget that EXE is a forum of VIP, its not a bad thing, its just more conservative.
Im sure alot of people here have much worse roads then you have and to be honest with you, I used the same excuse when I got started. As time went on, my views changed and my nuts grew.
And by the way, the cars you see in those magazines have fender work done so that the fenders look stock.
I hope this one doesnt get out of hand.

yo, after reading the "how low" thread i think what i ment what BLack on black noticed.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
i just got my first vip car mags with some accessories i ordered, and i was suprised to see MOST cars tucking wheel with meatier tires. actually i saw a lot of things that are considered uncool on this forum. changed my outlook a lot. seems like the style has evolved to more "exe" over there (there are still some hardcore vip), but ppl over here are stuck on the traditional look.-

man i've been quoted. i feel famous. lol jk. probably won't score a bunch of points since i'm a newbie with a non-platform.
i see where this thread is going... but let me get my 2 cents in. as i learn and see more, i see the sides become more devided in the future (in the us). i see the cleaner "exe" and non-platform styles taking off, because its more parctical as dd as well as financially. i see the traditonal "vip" becoming a more hardcore and exclusive group and, as ppl go further with the modifications, more show oriented. i think because we're trying to copy what another nation is doing the things that we associate with traditional vip styling will/have become rules (platform, fitment, and i see more extreme mods on the horizon). this will push everything else into the other category. overseas i think everyone will do what they want without labels, and will most likely further embrace the "dub" look with a high class feel.
widebody: not to start an argument or anything, but the cars in the magazines tucking wheels are the ones with stock fenders. the ones with work are the radiused cars sitting low on big wheels with the whole face showing and the widebody/flared ones that usually have the sickest fitment.

The ones tucking rim still have fender mods. Usually inner fender mods. Only the very newest cars (180 crowns, Lexus GS and LS etc) have completely standard fenders

...but first i think ppl are sayin that you need to begin w/ the basis of vip, which is where the confusion began. ppl are distinguishing the difference between vip and vipstyling (to incorporate the org car groups) rather than the ladder. but the exe thing, i side more w/ wat you said. i do see a growing # of constituants doing more conservative styling, esp in japan. well at least on the pgs of their mags that we get here.(to be correct that is)

i'm not getting into the vip/vip style thing again. it's all about building your car, nobody owns a style. another thing i consider is we're chasing them (japan) and they're chasing us. so we (americans) think tuckin wheels and meaty tires is weak until we see them doing it. then it's cool, but they just copied it from our "dub" cars. we're just chasing our tail.
is it just me or has anybody else noticed that vip cars might just be an evolution of lowriders? reverse lips, low ride height, luxurious interior. i could be wrong, but it seems like theres a lot of similarities. just built with more style and money.

Not that i want to debate as well, but sayin that we're "chasing our own tail" would mean
that we are the trend setters. i don't agree w/ that. I would agree w/ saying that both east and west just have their own auto styling individually though. Agreed?

North America sets trends too.
I don't know where the concept that Japanese tuners invented everything came from, but it's wrong. We imitate them, they imitate us, and so on. But it's never exactly the same.

Into my plate, with sesame chicken and sweet & sour pork.
I see it going pretty much the way people like Pancakes, Zion, antbo and BigSteve are doing it....Q45s, GSs, and LSs, air suspension (for the most part), dish, camber..
Then the box guys doing something similar....
Not a whole lot of innovation because everybody wants to be 'the real deal', whatever that means. Variations on a theme if you will.
Of course there will be a few 'radicals' doing an all-out balls-out build, or a non-traditional platform taking some cues...I don't see anything on the scale of K-Break happening in North America though...and I see love in your life my son. Ya mon. Irie.

honestly? i think its going to the shitter. the car scene has a weird transition.
honda -> drift -> vip. then get a truck or something bc theyre "retired" or "out of the game".
itll go thru a tough time consisting budgeted builds and unknowledgable misinformed know-it-alls.
but like every trend, time will weed out the bads and goods and whats left is the real.
all the while, ill be building my cars for me and myself only.

All the western media seems to preach vip as the next step after drift or honda tuning. I think this will ultimately determine the direction vip goes. People looking for something "comfortable and practical" will flood the scene with similar styled cars - semi agressive wheels, air suspension and possibly a mild kit.
People "retiring" from performance modding are not going to break new boundaries in vip styling...

i dunno, im getting slightly irked by people saying what and what isnt vip, or where the future of VIP is going to be.
As stated, in japan, a wide range of vehicles are VIP. not just the what, 5 cars avaliable in the us.....
i think people need ot get off the elitist soapbox and accept other things as VIP.

Preach on brotha preach on, let the light of truth illuminate their JP-dominated minds!!! It's funny how all the elitist are sticking to just one side of VIP that is really not going trend in Japan, it is one version as stated by Yokotas and a few others, and maybe the original style as a few others will state..... but is it the definitive word on VIP? no. does it automatically make anyone who subscribes to it an expert or better than anyone? no. just makes you either someone with a really good looking VIP car or someone with a really good looking VIP car that acts like an a-hole. stop worrying about what is VIP and what isn't, and where it's going or whatever, and worry more about where your car is headed in your mind, that's more important. show the world what your vision in your mind was for your car since this will give people some insight as to who you are and what you can accomplish. ding. stick a fork in me cuz i'm done!

i think this biggest misconception that people in the usa have trouble adapting to. most usa car enthusiast are so use to the prices of "knock off" items that when they step up to a new platform or style they're shocked. it's just as pricey as if you were to build a drift car w/ 100% real parts. a good example is say you were building a 240sx and you bought a real vertex kit your looking at spending just as much as if your had a gs300 and bought a mode parfume kit. same thing goes for wheels and other parts. just my 2 cents.
as far as where vip in the usa is going it's really hard to tell but it's nice to see that it's growing and getting noticed by the mainstream and usa manufactures as well.

VIP on the east coast is growing soooooo slowwwwww......
Even the adaptation of VIP styling is slow. I think the import aftermarket industry regardless if it's VIP, drift, rice, or whatever, is dying down. Yes, a lot of my customers are former "Honda" tuners, but the growth factor is small out here. I'm not sure if it's the fact that in the colder parts of the country, we basically shut down for several months, or if it's just that we're 2 years behind the west coast.
I do think modifications in general have been raised a level or too. I don't see as many APC type cars out there, but then again, I don't see too many modded imports on the roads in general.
As for the elitists....many got their wish where they wanted to keep traditional VIP exclusive. Trust me, on the east coast, it is.

We have other things to factor on the north east such as salted roads in the winter, horrible roads, lack of parking, theft, etc. Most people commute using trains and buses due to the insane traffic and parking issues so I feel that people don't want to spend lots of $ on aftermarket parts on a car that is driven just on weekends. Cost of living also plays a factor

look at the bay area, where i live.
the most expensive place to live in the US, easily. crappy parking everywhere u go in the city, esp due to street cleaning/meters. IF you do find a lot, its eaily $30/day. traffic is horrible from 4-7 any day of the week. we do have the best public transportation, imo, in the us with the bart, muni, caltrans, etc. most people dont need cars. yet the scene is poppin out here! but it doesnt snow out here.
in my recollection from the scene since ive been in it, the east coast is always last to catch on to the "next big thing" whether it be jdm, drift or whatever. i have friends in jersey who say you still see black widow kits at car shows lols.

itll go thru a tough time consisting budgeted builds and unknowledgable misinformed know-it-alls.
but like every trend, time will weed out the bads and goods and whats left is the real.

I actually find that funny because I went through and am still going through, that transition. Before I owned a car, I wanted a civic...I did my research and learned a lot, and then changed my mind to a 300zx....then I started getting into drifting, this was way back before it was popular in the states, and I wanted a 240sx. But I ended up with an FC. And after I bought the FC, I did all sorts of research learning about part manufacturers, the rotary engine etc, and I fell in love with the car, and I know a ton of stuff about RX-7s, whether its aftermarket parts, engine info, or what year came with what stuff; I love and will always love RXs (their are more then just the 7) and the Rotary engine. And just recently I bought a truck so I wouldn't have to drive the FC everyday.
I've always been into VIP styled cars ever since I fell into the whole jdm tuning thing, which was years ago, like when I wanted to get a 240sx. I wouldn't exactly call myself a noob when it comes to VIP, but I'm in no ways a veteran. I registered on this forum to learn, and to do research, because I'm ready to buy the VIP car I've always wanted; a UCF20. I know about VIP style, but I really need to learn about the various parts manufacturers, where to buy, and air suspension lol.
Anyway, my opinion on the future of VIP is that it WILL grow. Look at all the other "JDM trends" that have grown, especially drifting. Drifting has become so huge and has almost become mainstream. Back when it was new, you'd see like one "drifter" car a month, now you can see one everyday. And 240s have become the new civics. No offense to anyone that owns a 240, I love the 240 and its on my list of cars to own, but its true; many people buy a 240 and make it "drifter style" and never drift or do track events or anything like that. If its a showcar I can kinda understand, because you don't want to ruin it but still....
VIP style will eventually grow, its inevitable, as long as people continue to show their VIP cars at shows and keep their cars in the publics eye, it will grow, its just growing a little slower, and I think one of the reasons for that is because the parts can be so expensive and can be harder to source.
I think these various tuning "styles" have a heart and soul associated with them, like VIP "style" is not VIP, and drifter "style" is not drifter. I don't know if I'm explaining it right or using the right words but I think you know what I'm trying to say. Everyone has their own opinion about what VIP "is" but all opinions are based off of one broad definition/example of "VIP" that is central to the style. That usually seems to be a big, 4 door, rwd sedan; something that looks mafia-ish. People take a definition/example like that and go from their, doing what they think is VIP and what they like. But I think if you see someone who owns a VIP car or a drifting car or whatever, and they don't know anything about the culture or about the car, they just did it because it looks cool and were bored or something; can you really call that car VIP or whatever? Do you understand what I'm trying to say? I don't know if I explained it right....anyway thats my opinion.

ill quote one sentence of that whole speech bc it has the strongest meaning behind it. every style has its heart and soul and after mainstream, hs kids and their baby mamas take their shot at it, thats whose left.. the "OG's" or who have "love" for the style.. who appreciate the background, the history and the creativity that goes into achieving the look. that goes for every style. look at HT, there are some 30yr olds who have been on there for YEARS who remember when youd have to diy a cold air intake who are STILL into the style bc its their passion, not bc it was popular then drifted (no pun intended) away on the next bandwagon. as long as youre passionate about what youre doing and youre doing it for the right reasons, whose to say youre wrong?
personally i think the expense is a weak excuse in the long run. but yes, they lack of availablity and price works in our favor now. but back to hondas, anyone remember vision corners? REAL buddy club kits? etc? that shit was FIRE back then. corners alone, if you could source them, were a GRIP but people paid it. same with buddy club kit + wing which costed +$2500... about the price of a JP kit. manufactures will grab a kungfu grip on these styles, produce extremely affordable knockoffs (ie: ebay "visions", andysautosport, etc) for an extremely affordable cars (ef/eg/da, etc) and BAM, new rage. i can forsee kids picking up g50's and ucf10's, hitting up origins for a knockoff kit, some sportmax "vip" wheels/used wheels and saying theyre innovative and OG. but as they say, real recognize real. let people do what they do, stay passionate and knowledgable about your hobby and youre always a step ahead....regardless of what import tuner says. :thelaw: :giggity:

i think it also has to do with the availablility of part to the east coast. ive grown up here on the east coast but lived over on the west coast for several of years. over here your lucky if you find one shop that caters to whatever form of tuning you choose be it racing, drift, or vip. on the west you have a lot more shops catering to all styles of tuning. that give the people getting in to the scene or that are already into the scene a broader range of people to talk to about the scenes. you get to see parts first hand in person be it in the shops or on peoples cars in the west. yes the east coast has a few vip cars but we are spread out by hundreds of miles and only see each other during big events. so it is more diffcult for some one to invest that kind of money on a part they havent even seen in person.
as far as where the scene is going. i think it will become more popular with people, but not in the per se true "VIP' form of big luxury japanese car with super slammed stance and very aggressive wheels and crazy interiors that will be a smaller group of people. i think EXE (luxury cars slightly lowered, nice wheels and mild kit) will catch on more and smaller econo cars emulating the more hardcore vip (super slammed, wheels, kit, interior, etc) will be big.

err yes and no. I just moved to the bay area 3 months ago. I built all my cars out of houston, tx so I feel your pain on the lack of shops. we had a few come and go but most focused towards hondas and tuning. even subaru guys had to wait until tuners flew in to tune their utecs. I understand the frustration. all of my parts were shipped from cali bc no shops in tx, at the time, could get them bc there was no demand so they didn't supply. a lot of the custom fab shops focused on muscle cars/ mini trucks. so I know how it is. it sucks having to bite the bullet and pay a grip for shipping. but I do agree with u about parts availibility out here.. its a whole new world.

errr.. um. your on the east coast, so you won't hear about drifting for a few more decades, i guess. haha.. i see drift cars everywhere. i was crazy into drifting back in 99' and 00' and i was all about that. i was never too crazy into vip because of the lack of platforms and expense. i always admired it but never planned on doing it until i was all grown up with a family and whatnot. but as for the drift thing, it was never a trend for me. i was all about it when everyone else was yacking about B16 this, Spoon that.. i know a drift car when i see one. a drift car is beat to shit. you mod the suspension to aid in control, add power to ensure high entry speed/torque to spin wheels, and an aerokit was to aid in aerodynamics which would be basically disposable as it would be destroyed when drifting. it's all about function and i hated to see drifting become the new trend around what, 2004-ish? the only reason was because of the inflation. the 86s and S13s i used to pick up for $500 a pop had become rediculous. i liked the fact that the aftermarket started catering to drifting suspension-wise, but it was all ruined for me.. same with vip. there's a big difference between a vip car (traditional platform or not) and a scion with dished wheels and a body kit. i sort of hope it doesn't take off. not for the exclusiveness, but just so i won't be associated with the new rice when the knockoffs hit. i just want to settle down a bit and drive an enjoyable car. no scene points, no car shows.. that's what i bought my car for. as for trends, i'd really like to see dirt trials/rally become a trend so i'd have more venues to race! it's all the excitement of drifting but it's actually a motorsport as apposed to the exhibition americans made it out to be. but yeah, i'm sure vip will evolve to the point we all realize we actually are chasing our tails. america is like a disease. it infects the whole world. then that disease evolves and spreads back to america in it's new form. that's vip.

errr.. um. your on the east coast, so you won't hear about drifting for a few more decades, i guess. haha.. i see drift cars everywhere. i was crazy into drifting back in 99' and 00' and i was all about that. i was never too crazy into vip because of the lack of platforms and expense. i always admired it but never planned on doing it until i was all grown up with a family and whatnot. but as for the drift thing, it was never a trend for me. i was all about it when everyone else was yacking about B16 this, Spoon that.. i know a drift car when i see one. a drift car is beat to shit. you mod the suspension to aid in control, add power to ensure high entry speed/torque to spin wheels, and an aerokit was to aid in aerodynamics which would be basically disposable as it would be destroyed when drifting. it's all about function and i hated to see drifting become the new trend around what, 2004-ish? the only reason was because of the inflation. the 86s and S13s i used to pick up for $500 a pop had become rediculous. i liked the fact that the aftermarket started catering to drifting suspension-wise, but it was all ruined for me.. same with vip. there's a big difference between a vip car (traditional platform or not) and a scion with dished wheels and a body kit. i sort of hope it doesn't take off. not for the exclusiveness, but just so i won't be associated with the new rice when the knockoffs hit. i just want to settle down a bit and drive an enjoyable car. no scene points, no car shows.. that's what i bought my car for. as for trends, i'd really like to see dirt trials/rally become a trend so i'd have more venues to race! it's all the excitement of drifting but it's actually a motorsport as apposed to the exhibition americans made it out to be. but yeah, i'm sure vip will evolve to the point we all realize we actually are chasing our tails. america is like a disease. it infects the whole world. then that disease evolves and spreads back to america in it's new form. that's vip.
this is the future of VIP....lol...jk..im far from it.

Agreed....thats actually the transition I am currently making. I just want to settle down and drive a car that is fun to drive, but at the same time I don't have to worry about it so much. I never thought I'd do it, but I posted an ad on craigslist to sell my car. Its been a good run, but I think its time for me to move on....

I still think that VIP will grow because it's the natural progression of the "import scene."
The younger gerneration who were into sport compacts/hondas then drifting/240sx will start to receive a higher salary as their education and experience increase. With more money and some starting to have families, it makes the most sense to have a comfortable reliable 4 door and still enjoy modding it VIPstyle.
There are more and more Y33, LS, GS owners on here now. Lots of other platforms as well. I have seen the growth already since this forum began.

drift cars are easy to build
i can build one in teh US for less than the price of a Q45, airsus, and a kit
and actually look badass
i can build one in japan however for about 6,000

everything i get
is either from random shops that have the best prices
or here in japan, upgargae for wheels, bov, steering hweel, seats, and roll cage
and a shop called ESSENTIAL (in Drifttengoku) is down the road i order all my brakes, aero, turbos, etc etc
if i was in the states, id go to some random shop, say i want these prices on this stuff, nad lay a fat wad of cash down to get it all at once.
ive done it 2 times before, and it works like a charm

I haven't been able to find really any shops around here that do luxury lines, but there is a (bunny ears) jdm shop close by. I'm willing to try them, but i would rather order out of japan...anyone there offer that service? via internet...

I just feel that the whole issue of "vip and exe which one is the next craze" isnt really a very big deal. The only thing that should matter is do you like what you have done to your car. The reason we modify cars is to be different. Now when all of the bandwagon car builders jump ship and grab on to the next car building craze we will see who is left. Then and only then can the fate of vip be decided.
As long as there are cars to be modified there will always be some form of style that will be copy catted and played out. Just stick to your guns do what you want and you will be happy.

I think a lot of the future of this lifestyle will hinge on cash..... most won't be able to pay to play and then most that go the cheapo knock-off route can be ridiculed into understanding that isn't what the lifestyle is about and then they'll be left with a car that looks like ass and they have no money. call a thinning of the herd if you will.

I dont think the life style is about who can afford the highest priced stuff for their car. Any one can empty there check books and max out their credit cars to have the hottest car on the block. But 9 times out of 10 those are the band wagon car fad *****s that need to be thinned out. But I guess I feel that way cause it will take me four or five months to buy $3500 rims.

so which is it? do you NOT think it's about buying high priced parts (this is VIP sorry no knock-offs allowed), or is it about buying high priced like you are doing with your wheels? you can't say i'm wrong when you know i'm right and that's why you chose to save up for real wheels rather than some SportMaxx or Rotas.... i think you know i'm right and you know you're right, you just haven't figured out that it's because we have the same opinion except i stated it more bluntly while you chose to speak it more mutedly by purchasing $3500 wheels which would be the right way of doing things in this lifestyle.....

I guess I wasnt to clear in my meaning. What I am really trying to do is play devils advocate for those who cant afford the vip style but still try to mod their cars in that style with low end products. Yes Vip is clearly defined and perhaps the low end knock off style should have its own title. Just like true jdm parts are jdm and cheap ebay parts or jdm rice. Perhaps we should call them "budget minded vip enthusiasts".

i hate to say it but the future of VIP will be DUB style slammed. i'll hate to see it happen but i think here in the US thats where it will go. i understand the true VIP, but sooner or later everybody will realize that every car fixed up will look better with VIP influence cuz they can fit deeper wheels. i think all the VIP hondas still look better than almost all of the other hondas even though people dont like them. i'll post up pics of my s2000 when i fit it with wheels in VIP specs.

hahahahaha i like that but that already exists....
"budget minded vip enthusiasts" = buying used wheels and parts or taking your time to buy the right parts new
"knock off parts users" = cheap and never will be VIP cuz VIP means you splurge even if it's in small amounts......
diluting the style by adding more definitions will only accomplish just that.... the dilution of the style to mean nothing..... just like when you add waaaaaaayyy too much water to kool-aid..... it might look like kool-aid sort of but when you really taste it the flavor is lost because of the dilution.
There is only VIP or VIPstyle, and there is only Traditional (subtle) or Classic (flagrant), well at least in my eyes.... and yes everyone is afforded their own opinion and yes I will respect but I won't accept it! hahahahaha:biggthumpup: oh yeah and thanks for keeping it civil so far..... seems refreshing knowing no one is e-thugging as much nowadays hahahahaha

I agree with that to an extent but I wouldnt knock anyone that finds a used set of wheels they want in the offset they need. No need to wait 2-3 months when you can have them in a few days. Or lets say someone is selling something little like a spoiler. Who cares if it is used since it has to be repainted to match your car anyway. As far as suspension goes, I would only go with new parts.

I think this is true but I rather see a 300c slammed on cheap ebay 20's then in the air on cheap ebay 24's anyday but calling it VIP is a different story. We just need to continue to educate new commers on whats acceptable for this style and after a while they will do the same to future newbies and there might be some hope.

Im just trying to keep a fresh mind on things. I come from the modded honda days and the first time I really saw a vip car was when John from team hokuri showed up to a show with his jp'ed out gs. That was way back then and I could tell you stories. All I can say is I am a die hard petrol head and I like all forms of cars. I cant stay true to one type and I feel that all forms of automotive modification are beautiful. And SikNlow your g35 is beautiful I dont want to start "e-thugging" it as you say.
