BLITZ LS430 Grill

i just picked up my BLITZ grill today.
i did the test fit, and the grill fits like OEM.

well, now im debating on two options.
1. Chrome
or
2. Black OEM

what is yur take on it?

I think chrome would look good, i think...Im not too sure on this grill.
Its pretty damn thick.

Chrome might be a little TOO much with the thickness of that grill.

Im still working on the chrome but heres an idea of what black would look like.

yeah, i knew it was going to be thick when i ordered it, the BLITZ grill was the only one that i was able to find w/o the "L" badge on the grill.

okay, whos got PS skills? (photoshop) that will be much appreciated!

I think black looks pretty good, Nice PS ... Now we'd all have to wait and see for chrome.
Just out of curiosity, would it be possible to trim down the grill?

i don't care for that grill...insert of the grill is too large...almost looks like it belongs on a titan or some other truck...

Might look good, might not. And i have to agree, thats a pretty fat grille haha.

okay, the third option,
BLACK CHROME . . . .

that's a tough call, man..  third option sounds like a damn good compramise.  but if you paint it black, i'd go ahead and powdercoat the chrome trim ring black too, otherwise i think it would pop too much.  but the thing i like about chrome grilles is the show more depth and they hide anything behind the grille such as the radiator, ect, ect that might stand out if it were black.

I agree with everyone else..BLACK!

stock oem grille would look so much better. That blitz grille is a step down.

i say keep the grill. Paint it black and leave the chrome outline. I did the same thing with my grill. It'll be sick

black leave the chrome trim. i think that grill is sick.

I say you sell that grille, and buy another OEM one so you can hack it up and make an OEM-style badgeless grille. If you must keep it, though, paint it all black (includint the trim ring).

I'm sorry, but the chrome looks out of place now....My suggestion is to paint it, but if you love it, keep it the way it is.

NICE!  all you need now is to get a bigger badge on your hood to match the big grill.  The one you have now looks too small.

yeah, im 50/50 on the grill. many of you have had great input towards this grill, whether pos. or neg. your point is well taken. if anything, we were all able to see the "BLITZ" grill on a vehicle.
