Looks good. Sucks to have to do that, but i guess its the price you pay to have a car where people say "wtf, how can he drive it so low!?"
At least you are getting this all done while its unpainted. I reckon you should wait for air before you paint the car fully. Sucks to be respraying all the time for little repairs like that
i really should learn fibreglassing. Its on my list of things to learn, along with welding and spraypainting.
Jeez, sometimes i wonder if i should quit IT and move into automotive bodywork haha :)

good thing you know how to work with fiberglass. Saves alot of money. I think you should raise up your car until you get your air suspension. RIde hieght is so low.

haha, he'd rather break stuff everyday than ride any higher I think!
Not many people have the guts (or the desire) to go that far to have a car that satisfies them at the end of the day

Sucks, but I agree, no paint until bags, and no raising of ride height. Sweet that you can do the repairs yourself too. eventually you may have to sell me a set of wheels.....If I ever get my insurance settlement so I can pick up a y33...

fuck me in the ass (no not literally)
guess im fiberglassing my bumper again tomorrow
went into upgarage, and mis calculated by a small amount, but enough damage to put a nice crack in the lip, and pop off all the zipties...
nothing 3 or 4 hours of fiberglassing and sanding wont fix.

Ouch. I'd say work on the bags before getting the paint done. Did you buy any lenses with that camera?

hehe, wow.
In this case it's probably a good thing you had zip-ties! If that had been bolted it probably would have cracked big time eh?

Is there some kind of guide to fiberglassing? I have a crack in my 98 LS bumper.. the bottom edge of the passenger fog light. Not too bad...

Is it an aftermarket bumper or the stock bumper? Stock bumpers are not fiberglass, they are plastic. Plastic repair is more difficult.
To answer your question, you can always go to you tube and type in "how to fiberglass." Its not hard, just smells really bad and will leave you itching so be sure to wear baggy old clothes and gloves along with a mask.

It's a stock bumper.. plastic. Would it be smarter to buy a new one?
