Why do you want to build a vip style car?

This is to see what intentions are behind some of the vipstylecars here in the forum...

1. For show only?
 
2. Daily driver?
 
3. or you just want to follow the trend?

1.5... Not a daily driver, but not only for show... Somewhere inbetween

I've driven my vip whip about 4 or 5 times since August. :shrug:

Been driving loud, low cars since i was 17...  And my clients seem to LOVE them!  I have always LOVED big sedans that had great stance and now that I am tired of going fast, I love the scene and the response VIP cars get!

i did it for both show and daily just with gas prices i stick to driving the xB.  91 isnt cheap to fill up in my 430.  I drive it to every show and i drive it all the time when i use to go to LA to hang out.  But i mostly just bring it to shows because I have so many other cars for my hobbies that i cant drive them all =)

I want people to think I am cool.

Daily fo sho!!! I love rolling VIP cause it's unique. Among Japanese imports its just premium Japan styling. Somewhat understated but classy none the less.

I still don't have a vip style car. I don't plan to drive it daily. The main reason I want one it to drive other people around. I'm picking up and dropping off friends and other family members.. at least 3 times a week and I want them to feel as comfortable and special as possible.

Then stay far away from VIP.  Driving low isnt comfortable.  Nor is driving on 30 series tires with large rims.  Having to swerve every 10 feet to avoid potholes and dips isnt exactly that comfortable either.

I wanted a VIP Style Car because here in Puerto Rico nobody has the guts to start this fashion because its too much money so me and my shop are starting... and my LS is a Daily driver I like when people stop at my side on a red light and tell me they love the car

Meh, same here. She specially hates driving it...

hence why its not strictly for daily. Most of the time its just easier, quicker and cheaper to take my gf's Echo.

But its like a nice suit. You cant/wont wear it everywhere, but its good to have one for those occasions when you want to be noticed or when you feel like making an 'entrance'

Right. This is why im looking for a daily driver. Once I get one and I move to a house with a garage, I will go all out and just make it a show car. Im going to need 1 1/2 lanes to fit my car ;)

I have a feeling I might not be able to use my car as a true daily driver next year...might have to get a real beater to get to work and still pour money into the Protege and my secret second project (well, not really secret, I just haven't picked the car up yet)

I was always showed the middle finger for taking the snail's pace and going over bumps on an angle rofl

well at least they feel safer. all of my cars are so old they are a bit scared to sit in them.

Im 2 sizes bigger right now then when I started (that sounded really bad).  I didnt try the circut breaker though.  Im going to give it a shot.

HA HA HA HA... j/k, this was times past. I wanted to kill the stock suspension with dignity, so I blew all the struts that one event. Now is time for air suspension. Why me build a VIP car? to daily drive it. Queens are for pansies.

i was blo;wing like 100AMp fuses, with 00 gauge wire, and two big ass compressors on a Vw.

CB lets you just flip it and go

I don't want to build my car VIP Style I want to build it my style.  I feel that my style with have a lot of VIP influence to it though.  I love being low, I love good fitment, and I love big cars.  

My car will not be anything crazy, I just want to mod it so that I like it.

what do you do as a job?

mine's a daily. nobody else in this city has a vip car yet, so it really stands out.

thats what i was gonna say.

I'm old (29 going on 30) and done enough honda/nissan modding in my days and can't be seen driving a small car with a big body.   Also it looks cool and it's the more subtle/calm side of modding cars.
