If it came down to it what would you get? (Not looking at the price)
Thanks in advance
Both kits have their pros and cons this is what i've gathered as I have installed both UAS and airrunner products.
Airunner
-------------------------------------------
Pros:
100% complete bolt on kit Includes everything you need.
complete strut/bag combo no need to buy struts or reuse old struts.
Instructions included in box (not very through but at least they give something)
Provided wiring and connectors are adequate, they give you enough length to pretty much mount it where you want.
A some what backed up name and japan counterpart thats been in business for awhile (airbomber)
A product that has some R&D involved.
Kyb 4 way adjustable strut.
Firestone air bags.
Decent air management.
Diy friendly.
1 year warranty.
Cons:
Basic kit comes with pneumatic switches which cause airline to be ran throught the car limiting installation areas.
Cheaper gauge setup with IMO not so accurate way of determining a pressure reading.
One time use fittings. With their crush fitting design according to airrunner, the resin rings can only be used once.
Small compressor allowing long fill times.
No water trap included.
Ugly air tank (big welds, very rugged looking, flat black finish, something you would rather hide then showcase)
No gauge for tank pressure
No rebuild option within usa(from what i've gathered please correct me if im wrong)
Expensive kit starting price at $4000+

Universal Air System
--------------------------------------------
Pros:
Cost effective.
Chrome tank.
Viair compressors.
Electric valves allowing greater installation flexibility.
Decent bag construction thicker then most.
Push to connect fittings, reusable.
Big valves/airlines offering faster lift/down times.
Us based company
Dual big compressor setup (faster fill times)
Cons:
Universal design bags are not application specific.
Provided parts are minimal (in both kits I've installed parts were missing)
Minimal bracketing. Most of it is universal and depending on application may need to be modified/fabricated to make work.
Big diameter bag will not clear smaller inner wheel wells where suspension clearance is an issue.
Does not include engineered shock body. (will need to use stock or replacement strut designed to work with a coil spring)
Slip over design limits you to using only certain shock diameters.
No upper mount included, you need to reuse the stock one.
Non static design, bag could possibly move when suspension is loaded/unloaded.
Switch box is bulky limiting areas to store it in.
No gauges included.
No wiring/connectors included.
If running single valves, they will all need to be assembled.
No real R&D, basically they sell you parts you need to put together to make a "bolt on air suspension"
Tank included only has 4 ports limiting plumbing options.
No instructions included in box. May be downloaded.
Limited application specific instructions.
Not really DIY friendly.
No real warranty info listed (from what I've seen)
Thats all I can remember for now, Basically these are my opinion and are just to answer some unanswered questions about the difference between the two.
